It is with humble acceptance of God`s will that we announce the death of Dorcas Wambui Kirichu on 12th March 2024 at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH) Hospital.
Loving wife of Mr. Leonard Kirichu Wanjau. She was the first born daughter of the late James Njoroge and the late Violet Njeri. Daughter of the late James Njoroge and the late Violet Njeri.
Daughter-in-law of the late Benson Wanjau and the late Phylis Waheti. Mother of Charles Wanjau (Business Man), Phyllis Waheti (Judiciary), Caroline Njeri (County Assembly of Laikipia), Perpetual Nyambura (IGRTC) and James Njoroge (Royal Carribean, USA).
Grandmother of Paulette Wambui, Tiffany Njeri, Leeroy Riunge, Lesly Njeri, Jayden Kerichu, Dion Karari, Justin Njenga, Jazlyne Wambui and Leonard Kerichu.
Sister of Obadiah Kariuki, David Njuguna, Rhoda Wairimu, Peter Kungu, Mary Wanjiru and the late Danson Mwangi. She was niece of the Njuguna, Kahuhia and Njoroge.
Sister-in-law of the late Sammy Waithaka & Rose Wambui, the late Francis Karicho & Margaret Wangechi, Wilson Wango`mbe & Rose Wakarende and Alice Wanjiku, Beth Njoki, the late Stephen Wokabi, Njoki Kariuki, Joyce Njuguna, Wangui Kungu and Charles Muita. Mother-in-law of Agnes Wangui and Moses Karari.
Prayers and Funeral arrangement are being held at her residence at Mwiki, Kasarani. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral Funeral Home Thursday 21st March 2024 from 7.00 am. The Burial Ceremony will be held thereafter at her home in Aguthi, Narumoru, Kieni Constituency, Nyeri County at 10.00 am.
It is the Lord who gave us Dorcas and it is the Lord who has taken
her, may the Name of the Lord be Praised.
