With heavy hearts, we share the news of unexpected departure of our beloved Susan Jelagat Missoi formally of KCB, who gained her angel wings on March 12th, 2024, at home in Crowley Texas. Susan’s life would seem too short to many but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quality of time that she stayed here.

Susan was the wife of Laban Kiptanui Missoi of Asmara Farm, Kuinet. She was the beloved third born daughter of the late Chepkeitany Bundotich Tumo and the late Grace Siokwei of Siliboi sub-location, Ainabkoi Uashin Gishu county. Stepdaughter of the late Zipporah Siokwei and Mary Soti. Daughter-in-law of the late Mr. Samuel & the late Sarah Kimisoi of Kamosong.

She was the mother of Edward Missoi (Eldoret), Allen Missoi (US), Albert Missoi (US), Carol Ochuka (US) and Jimmy Missoi (Nairobi). Mother-in-law of Kiki, Joan, Ochuka and Bilha. Grandmother of Lindsay, Kigen, Danielle, Sophia, Kayla, David, Tish, Alyssa, Samuel, Samantha, Dejon, Ethan, James, Shawn and Joe.

She was sister of Elizabeth Cheboi, Leah Cheruiyot, Salina Tanui, Nancy Kimutai, Emmy, Thomas, Rose Kipkorir, Jane Maina, Paul, Mary, Eunice, Jeremy, the late Joseph, Wilson, Edith, Frida, Juliana, Roda, Fred, Abraham, Cliff, Evans, Doreen, Collins, Winnie and Beatrice. Sister-in-law of Jane Kimayo, Alice Kiboss and Francis Kiptum.

Family and friends are meeting at the Kuinet Farm, Eldoret. 

FUNDS DRIVE: 

A major funds drive shall be held on 27th March 2024 at Sirikwa Hotel from 4.00pm.

BURIAL SERVICE: 

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, 30th March 2024 at the family’s home in Asmara Farm, Kuinet from 10.00am.
