It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rtd. Elder David Kiarie Karanja, which occurred on 7th April 2024. He was the beloved husband of Carrie Wambui Kiarie. Son of the late Josephat Karanja Nganga and the late Priscilla Wanjiru Karanja. Son in law of the late Onesmus Muranga Kamau and the late Cecilia Muthoni Muranga. Brother of the late Peterson Mburu Karanja, Esther Nyokabi and the late Lydia Wanjiku. Step Brother of the late Wambui Githigi and the late Rachel Wanjiku Ngigi.
Loving Dad of Samuel Karanja Kiarie and Irene Wangare Karanja, Amos Muranga Kiarie, Grace Wakiyu, John Mburu Kiarie and Lucy Wanjiru Mburu. Grandfather of Teddy Kiarie Karanja, Carrie Wambui Karanja, David Kiarie Muranga, Caroline Wambui Muranga and Oscar Njuguna Gachoka, Isaac Wangai Muranga, Joy Wanjiru Muranga, Carolyn Wambui Mburu and Olivia Nyokabi Mburu. Great-grandfather of Aimee Wanjiku Njuguna and Azariah Gachoka Njuguna.
Baba Mdogo of Anne Wanjiru Kagotho and Joseph Kagotho, Joe Karanja and Carole Karanja, Sarah Muthoni and Charles Macharia.
Meetings are being held every day at his home in Naaro Village, Muruka Location, Kandara Sub-County, Muranga County. There will also be meetings at All Saints Cathedral on Wednesday 10th April and Friday12th April 2024 at 5.30 pm.
A prayer meeting will also be held in Kerugoya on Thursday11th April 2024. Memorial service on Sunday14/4/24 at PCEA Naaro at 2.00pm.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Kabati Muranga County on Tuesday 16th April 2024 for funeral service at PCEA Naaro Church at 10 am and thereafter interment at his home.
