It with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we announce the untimely death of our beloved Mwangi (Mwas) which occurred on 10th April 2024.
Mwangi was the last-born son of the late Mr. Frank Onesmus Maina and the late Grace Njeri Maina. He was a cherished brother to Eng. Ken Maina Karuno, Kate Maina-Vorley (CARE International), Rose Muthoni Mucheru (United Nations), Jenniffer Wangui Maina (UK) and James Mburiah Maina (Businessman). He was a loving Uncle to Njeri Karuno, Carol Karuno, the late Nathaniel Maina, Chris Vorley, Zara Vorley, Jonathan Mucheru, Arianna Mburiah and Alex Azama. Beloved Brother-in-law to Catherine Karuno, Rod Vorley, Sam Mucheru and Teresiah Wambui. He was a nephew and a cousin and a friend to many.
Prayer meetings will be held at the All-Saints Cathedral (St. Thomas room) at 5.30pm from Monday, 22nd April, Tuesday, 23rd April and Wednesday, 24th April 2024.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, 25th April 2024 at St. Mark’s Church, Westlands, Karuna Close along Wayaki Way at 2pm. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 27 April 2024 at his home in Kamune village, Kamacharia location Kangema, Muranga.
