It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. Hoseah W. Waweru, Consultant Dermatologist at Upper Hill Medical Centre which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, 28th May 2024 while receiving treatment in New Delhi, India.
Son of the late James Ndirangu and the late Beatrice Nyawira of Ugachiku, Kirai Sub Location, Othaya, Nyeri County. Son in law of the late Ayub Mwega and the late Marion Mwega of Runyenjes, Embu County.
Husband of Nancy Muthanje Waweru. Father of Eric Mureithi Waweru (Leicester, UK), Amb. James Ndirangu Waweru (Geneva), Nyawira Waweru Iqbal (Nairobi Skin Clinic) and Nathan Macharia Waweru (NCBA Bank). Father-in-law of Pauline Waluse Waweru, Susan Wangechi Ndirangu, Tahir Iqbal and Sandra Chelimo. Grandfather of Aaliyah, Bilal, Hosea, Alfred, Zawadi and Nate. Uncle of many.
Brother of the late Nathaniel Gathendu Ndirangu, John Peter Ndungu (Nyeri), John Kingori (USA), the late Catherine Wangechi and the late Naftali Ngechu. Brother in-law of the late Alfred Nyongesa Waluse and Irene Waluse, the late Geoffrey Mwangi Kiragu and Lilian Kiragu, the late Mohamed Rafique and Nur Fatma, Chelimo Cheboi and Amy Chelimo.
Family and friends will meet at St Andrews Church Nairobi from: - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (3,4,5,6 June 2024) from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
