With heavy hearts and profound acceptance of God’s will, we his family, announce the promotion to glory of Simon Kahindi Nduati who departed peacefully on Tuesday, 30th July 2024.
Simon was the beloved son of the late Julius Mîrîng’o (Nduati) and the late Rachel (Rakeri) Muthoni.
He was a loving husband of the late Frederika Njeri Kahindi and a loving father of the late Anthony Nduati, Onesmus Mûgo, Francis Kinyanjui, Martin Kimani, John Thindi, Carole Mûthoni and Maryann Nyambura. He was brother of the late Francis Kinyanjui, Lydia Njeri Ng’ethe, John Thindi, the late George Chuna, the late James Mungai, Alice Wanjiku, Clement Wawerû (Mwenja), Edward Mwathi and Alex Njoroge.
He was a loving grandfather of many and great-grandfather of 1. He leaves behind many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Committee, family and friends are meeting daily at Gachie Ribarori (near the mosque) from 5.00pm for the burial preparations.
The funeral will be held on Friday 9th August, 2024. The cortege will leave UMASH Funeral Home, Nairobi, at 9.00am and thereafter, a funeral service will be held on the same day at ACK St. James Ribarori Church, Gachie at 12.00p.m.
Simon will be laid to rest at his farm in Gachie Ribarori, Kiambu-County.
Simon’s legacy of integrity, diligence and kindness will forever remain engraved in the hearts of many.
