It is with heartfelt sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of our Patriarch, Rev. Philip Musyoka Syengo on 7th March 2025 following an illness. Rev. Philip Musyoka Syengo was a treasured son of the late Syengo Mukombi and the late Fridah Ndinda Nzou. He was a devoted spouse of Mary Mbithe Musyoka, and the first born to his parents.
He was a step son to Emily Kathule Syengo, a beloved brother to Joseph Mutinda, Elijah Muasya, Grace Kavengi, and the late Eunice Muthini. He was a step brother to Nicodemus Kithukuu, Jemimma Mwende, Beatrice Kuthi, Priscilla Wanza and Daniel Kameta. Rev. Philip Musyoka Syengo is survived by wife, Mary Mbithe Musyoka, 10 children (Agnes, Elizabeth, Anne, Zipporah, the late Alex, Joshua, Benjamin, Joseph, Timothy and David Muthui)
He was a grandfather to Peter, Eric, Jane, Earnest, Judy, Kanini, Wambua, Sarah, Muthoni, Mbithe, Suleiman, Faith, Kanini, Mary, Kelvin, Mwende, Immanuel, Edwin, Fridah, Chris, Ruth, Moses, Jochebed, Gabriel, Magdalene and great grandchildren.
The cortege leaves Tribute Funeral home, Kitui, on 22nd March 2025 to his home in Katwala Location, Kisasi Sub County, Kitui County, where the funeral service and burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd , 2025.
