It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Mzee Zedekiah E. N. Achira of Charachani Sub-location, Chinche Village, Nyamira County, on 12th April, 2025, at the Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi, after a long illness.
Son of the late Isaac Achira and Mama Sabina Moraa. Devoted husband of Ruth Moraa, and loving father of Francis, Alex, the late Stella Memusi, Philip, James, and Joseph. Father-in-law of Hon. Kanchory Memusi, (MP Kajiado Central), Janet, Egrah, Mary and Everylne. Grandfather of Collins, Naomi, Benjamin, Christine, Gift, Nathan, Sheila, Talaash, Tajeu, Sosoika, Sydney, Tamara, Eric, Stacy, Dan and Naji. Great-grandfather of Kerry, Ronel and Job.
Brother of Martha, Rebecca, the late Jeremiah, the late Samuel, John Nyakundi, Mary, the late Kibagendi, Teresa, the late David, Zachariah Onsomu, the late Kennedy, Bogonko, Margaret and Esther. Cousin of the late Dr. Ombati, the late William Nyamongo, Peter Getate, the late Samson, Harun Nyamboki (Moke Gardens), Naftal Osoro (NAFROM), Charles Otachi, Asuma, the late Orito, among others.

The burial service will take place on 25th April 2025 at his Saiwa Farm in Kitale.
