With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our dearly beloved, Margaret Nanga Shivachi, daughter of the late Raphael Mukabi Wanda and the late Phyllis Atieli Mukabi. She was a cherished sister to the late Samson Mukabi, the late Joshua Mukabi, and the late Edward Asembo Mukabi, and sister-in-law to the late Rhoda Mukabi, the late Cecilia Mukabi, and Everlyne Mukabi.
Margaret was the devoted wife of the late Henry Slade Shivachi and a loving mother to Melisa Sambe Shivachi, Maureen Mwando Shivachi, Miriam Mbusa Shivachi, and Hezron Shamalla Shivachi. She was also a beloved mother-in-law to Stephen Gwer, Alister Osiro, and Rosalia Wanjiru, and a doting grandmother to Anthony Gordon Pacho, Henry Oliver Orondo, Levi Mukabi Ochieng, Elisham Orimo Osiro, Dalia Nanga Osiro, the late Henry-Peter Thuo Shamalla, and Xena Nanga Shamalla.
The cortege will depart from Kwe Farewell Home, Kisumu, on 9th May 2025 for her home in Muraka for a viewing and prayers.The procession will then proceed to Lirhembe for an overnight vigil. The funeral service and final rites will be held on 10th May 2025 at her matrimonial home in Lirhembe, Kakamega County.
