It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Kennedy Mwangi Njau which occurred on 3rd May, 2025, through a tragic road accident.
Until his death he was an employee of National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
Husband of Veronica Nyokabi Kigucia, father of Alvin Njau Mwangi, Angel Wanja Mwangi and Nael Thiong’o Mwangi. He was son of the late Peter Njau Mwangi and Hellen Wanja Njau. Son-in-law of John Kigucia Kamenya and Teresia Wanjiku Kigucia of Wamwangi, Gatundu South.
Brother of the late Ann Wanjiku Njuguna, Rahab Waruguru and Regina Nyokabi. Brother-in-law of Njuguna Muchirira. Uncle of Joy, Blessings, Arya and Sage. Grandson of the late Samson Mwangi Njau, Hannah Wanjiku Njau, Benson Githuku Kimani and the late Rahab Waruguru Githuku.
There will be a memorial service on Friday 9th May, 2025 at 2.00 p.m at Montezuma Monalisa, Kabati, Thika. Family and fiends are meeting daily at their rural Village at Murungaru in Kinangop and at Golden Palm Hotel Kenol.
The cortege will leave Nyayo Ward Mortuary at Engineer town on 10th May, 2025 at 9.30am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Kienjero Village, Hianyu area, Murungaru Ward, Kinangop Sub county, Nyandarua County.
