Edward Carey Francis Kwach

It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Edward Carey Francis Kwach of Simenya, Siaya, who departed this life on Monday, 28th April 2025.

Beloved son of Justice (Rtd.) Richard O. Kwach and Emma Kwach. Grandson of the late Esau Kwach and the late Norah Kwach of Simenya Kanyamuot, and the late Mzee Daudi Olalo and the late Mama Rosebella Olalo of Alego Kaluo.

 Brother of Richard Jr. “Dudu”, Shaka, Edgar, and Otto. Brother-in-law to Valentine Kwach. Uncle to Norah (Mya), Zola, Tristan, and Owen.

 Nephew of James Ochieng’ Kwach, Gladys Ochieng’ Kwach, the late Amelea Omolo, Elizabeth Agina, the late Dorcas Obong’o, Alice Odeny, the late Yuanita, the late Grace, the late Nellie, Joyce Osumba, Sam Osumba, Dan Olalo, Margaret Olalo, Marenya Olalo, Betty, the late Damaris, Naomi, the late F. Aling’o, the late Dr. Joab Bodo, the late Eng. J. Omolo, the late Maurice Obala, Evans Anyango, and Joe Ochieng’.

Cousin of Norah, Grace, Oscar, Rocky, Prof. Onyango, Wilson Odadi, Agnes Omollo, Michael Bodo, Nicholas Bodo, Ronnie Osumba, Davie Olalo, Nicholas Odhiambo, Clement Agina, David Obong’o, Steve Odeny, George Aling’o, Brian Ochieng’, among many others. A friend to many.

 Meetings will be held at All Saints Cathedral on 5th and 6th May 2025 at 5:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place at All Saints Cathedral on 8th May 2025 at 12:00 noon.

 The Burial Service will be held on Saturday, 10th May 2025, at Simenya Primary School starting at 9:00 a.m.
