Makini Schools regrets to announce the passing on of Mrs. Joy Ochola, the School Coordinator, on Sunday 18th March 2018 at Nairobi Hospital. She was formerly a teacher of French and English at Makini Academy Lang’ata, Brookhouse and State House Girls.
Dotting wife of the late Jack Ochola of Migori County and formerly of Kenya Airways. Co-wife of the late Teresa Ochola. Sister of Eira White (U.K). Daughter in-law of the late Arun and Sarah Ojwang. Sister in-law of Gilbert Ojwang’, Josiah Ojwang’, Leonorah Kajiga and Priscah Adhiambo. Auntie of Michelle Harding (U.K) among others. Step mother of Margaret Ruth Kisutsa (Nairobi), Marylynn Odera Ochola (Kisumu) formerly of Lake Basin Authority, James Kawawa Ochola (Kisumu), the late Alice Rabach (Tanzania), Tom Ochola and Esther Ochola. Grandmother to many.
Burial arrangements are taking place at Makini Schools. There will be a memorial service at Makini Upper School Hall on Tuesday 27th March 2018 starting at 3:30 p.m.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Mortuary on Tuesday 3rd April 2018 at 7.a.m. for burial at Manyatta village, Suna East, Migori County on Wednesday 4th April 2018.
