We, the family of the Late Mzee John Muluhya, wish to convey our sincere gratitude for all the love and support we received following the demise of our beloved family Patriarch.

We are grateful to the Friends Quakers and Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) churches for your consistent prayers, delightful home visits and the honourable send-off.

Special thanks go to Mzee’s health care team, some of whom walked with him for decades giving him exemplary care: Dr. Robert Mathenge and Dr. Saumu Hatibu (Equatorial Heart & Blood Vessel Clinic); Dr. Najj Said (Aga Khan); the entire Warshaw Team (Aga Khan); Dr. Herman Peter Owuor (Aga Khan Kisumu); Dr. Ben Biongoto and Chief Nurse Jared Asumba (Jumuia Friends Hospital Kaimosi).

To Mzee’s carer, Mr. Dennis Waithaka, thank you for the commendable nursing care and stellar kindness and compassion- you made sure to treat him with respect and dignity.

Thank you to the entire Bagondi Clan; the Funeral Organizing Committees and the Museno Bodaboda Association for your support over the years and commitment to ensure that Mzee had a befitting send-off. To all friends and family, it is during times of sorrow that we realize how much family truly means to us. Your prayers, messages of encouragement, financial and material support and other expressions of sympathy during this most difficult time are fondly acknowledged and deeply appreciated.

A thanksgiving and memorial service will be held at the Family residence in Bugude Village, Idakho, Kakamega on Friday, 13 April 2018 at 9.00 am.
