Wife to the late Mzee Ali Odenyo; Daughter to the late Kassim Olukhanda and the late Mwanaidi Anene (Makunda village Mumias North). Mother of Rehema Onjala, Fatuma Sambuli Wanga (Mumias North), Ibrahim Sambuli, UNFPA Country Representative in Eritrea, Mark Odenyo (Kenya Police Service, Nairobi Area), the late Zainabu Nyarotso, the late Rukia Adinda, the late Mary Wasabo and the late Haji Odenyo; Sister to the late Mwanaidi Akumu, Omar Nyangweso, and Zainabu Atsiambo. Mother-in-law to the late Abdallah Onjala, and the late Rajab Wanga; Fronah Manera, Catherine Nakhumicha and the late Amina Kambura
