It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the death of Advocate Phillip Olali Ocharo of Ocharo and Company Advocates after a short illness bravely borne at the Nairobi Hospital ICU.

Son of the late Chief Samson Ocharo Yongo and the late Juliana Ocharo of Magoto village, Suna West, Migori County. Son-in-law of the late mzee Fanuel Ng’iela of Sare Kamagambo and the late Mzee John Nyang’on of Kateg Ugenya.

Husband of Dinah Millicent Ocharo and Rose Adhiambo Ocharo. Father of Emma, the Late Evans, Caroline, Valentine, the late Edgar, Cynthia, Viola, Maria,  Dr.  Juliet and Tonia. Grandfather to Stephanie, Bradley, Dinah, Jayden, Sean, Crystal, Malika, Eden, Mathew, Tèa, Audrey and Nayah

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2020 starting 2:00 pm at CITAM Valley Road, Nairobi. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home for Migori on Thursday the 13th February 2020. He will be laid to rest on Friday February 14th, 2020 at his home in Magoto village, Suna West constituency, Migori County.

To help woffset the huge outstanding hospital bill and funeral expenses, family, friends and well-wishers are meeting daily at his home in Fedha estate, Phase 2 and Maxwell SDA Church daily at 4:00pm.

A major fundraiser has been scheduled for Tuesday, 11th February at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30pm.
Upcountry Harambee will be held on Saturday  8th February at Florence Hotel at 2:00pm
