It is with great sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Ernest Muli Mwau which occurred on July 17, 2021.
Son of the late Peter Joseph (PJ) Mwau Mulinge & the late Mama Theresia Rhoda Nundu Mwau.  He was the husband to Florence Wangui, father to Anastasia Wangari & Zadock Mwau.  He was the doting grandfather to Josephat Kioko & Titus Muli. He was brother to H.E. Adelina Ndeto Mwau, Deputy Governor Makueni County, Angelina Mukii Mwau, Proprietor of St. Theresia Kilungu Academy, Peter Mulinge Mwau, Elizabeth Nzisa Manyenze, Late Julius Mutua Mwau, Dr. Adelaide Mbaika Mbithi & Stellah Mukulu Mwangi of Jogoo House. Ernest was the son in-law to the late Josphat Mueri & the late Hanna Wangari Mueri of Naivasha.  He was brother in law to Cyril Marco Manyenze (former Manager St. Theresia Kilungu Academy), Philomena Muema, Professor Peter M.F. Mbithi, former Vice-Chancellor UoN, Peter Mwangi, the late Chege, Kamau, late Jedidda, Wanjiku, Susan Wairimu, Wambui & Mine. Ernest was the loving uncle to Oscar, Mwende Manyenze, Noel, Eileen Nundu of Australia, Euphrasia Manyenze-Wesolowski of Missouri, USA, Victoria Mwende, P.J. Mwau Manyenze, Dr. Florence Mbithi of Southampton, UK, Victor Waweru, Munyiva, Dr. Yvonne Mbithi, Dr. P.J. Mwau Mwangi, Kelvin, Lilian, Mutua, Julius Mutua Jnr, Mary &  Ndinda.  He was cousin to the Late Kimanthi, late Stephen, Matimbii and late Mbinya among many others.
The funeral arrangements are on-going at his Kalongo farm. The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home Machakos on July 30, 2021 at 8.00am for funeral Mass at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Kikoko at 10.00am, thereafter burial at his home  in Kalongo, Kikoko sub-location, Makueni County.
