A month ago we lost you, the pillar of our family. Time has done little to dull the pain of your absence.
You are dearly and desperately missed by your loving children Jayne Wairimu, Ng’ang’a Gitau and Peter Gitau, Your Son-in-law Stanley Waweru, your grandchildren Grace and James Gathui, Valerie and Clement Mutua, Barbara and Jade Nyoike and Georgina Nduta Gitau, your great grandchildren Njeri and Wairimu Gathui, your siblings, your cousins, your nieces and nephews, and your large circle of friends.
To everyone who gave and continues to give of their time, finances and prayers during this most difficult time we are humbled by your presence and we say thank you. We especially would like to thank the church leadership and community of P.C.E.A Church of the Torch, Thogoto, P.C.E.A Thirime Church Thogoto and P.C.E.A St. Andrew’s Church, Nairobi. We also extend our gratitude to staff of Regional Pastoral Livelihood Resilience Project (RPLRP) and Chemonics International, Afya Ugavi. For the care in her final days, we say thank you to Dr. Teddy Omwenga Nyakundi, Ann Wambui Kariuki and Yvonne Kidalanga. To her neighbors and friends in Thogoto Village, Port Reitz and Changamwe, we say thank you. To our entire extended family we say thank you. Ultimately to God who continues to hold each of our hands as we grieve, we would be nowhere without you.
