It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Njoki Wanguhu, formerly of St. Xavier’s, Nakuru.
Grace was the daughter to the late Dickson Kamau & the late Miriam Njeri and step-daughter to Mary Wambui of Kijabe. She was a wife to the late Mesh Wanguhu; loving mother to Dr. Ken Kamau Wanguhu & Suzan Waithìra Kamau and Florence Wambui Furechi of Australia, step-mother to Florence Wambui Wanjau, Charles Kamau Wanguhu & Josephine Nyiha Wanguhu; and a doting grandmother to Jimmy Wanguhu, Darrow Kamau, Maggie Njoki, Mesh Kijana Wanguhu & Lerrato Njoki.
She was the daughter-in-law to the late Charles Kamau Wanguhu, the late Martha Wanjera, the late Florence Wambui & Lilian Waceke Wanguhu. She was a sister to the late Danson Ngenya, Margaret Muigai, Nancy Waweru (USA), Geoffrey King’ora, Elsie Karanja, Isaac Njoroge (USA); step-sister to Grace Njoki (USA), Stephen Ngenya, the late Mwangi Kamau, Muthoni Gitonga, Njoroge Kamau (USA), Jane Kimani, Esau Manyara & Michael Njuguna. She was a sister-in-law to the late Wanguhu, Mbugua, Kabura, Nyagaki, Gichuru, Wangeci, Manyara, Charlene, Arthur, Kimani & Manyara. She was a loving grandmother, auntie & cousin, and an engaging friend to many.
The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 9.30 am on Wednesday 16th March 2022 for a funeral service at AIC Milimani Church, Nairobi. Interment will follow at Langata Cemetery.
