It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mzee Aloys Bonnie Safari, which occurred on Tuesday 6th September 2022 at his home in Nairobi.
Son of the late Cyrillus Kakenga Mure and Philomena Nzale of Pehoni village, Kaloleni, Kilifi County.
Husband to Josephine Kamene Safari.
Brother to the late Patrick Katana, Antony Kazungu, Alphonse Kalume, Maria Dama, and Veronica Kanze. Survived by siblings Lucy Kadzo, Christopher Kenga, Catherine Sidi Sirya, Michael Mure, Margaret Jumwa, and Gerald Kenga.
Brother-in-law to the late Eunice Nzembi, George Muthuku, Gabriel Makau and Charles Kiema, Matilda Katana, Charity Kazungu, Lucy Kalume, Julius Sirya, Winnie Kenga, the late Jane Mure, and Jane Mutheu Kenga.
Father to Victoria Nzale Goro, Hazel Safari, Nicholas Safari, Liz Safari, Jackline Safari, Leone Safari, and Dr Michael Liston Safari.
Father-in-law to Eng. E.C. Goro, Mariam Mwangemi, Hawa Shee and Teresia Njambi Liston.
Grandfather to Brian Wambugu Goro, Michelle Kamene Goro, Natasha Wangui Goro, Christian Amani, Andrew Byron Safari, Jamal Safari, Natasha Kamene Safari, Sophia Safari, Jacob Junior Imani, Robert Rauf Amani, Josephine Njeri Liston, Alexander Safari Liston, and Liza Wanjiru Liston.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Nairobi at 8.00 am on Tuesday 13th September 2022 for a funeral service at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Lang’ata at 9.00 am. Thereafter, a private cremation will be held at the Kariakor Hindu Crematorium for close family and friends at 1pm.
The interment of ashes will take place at his family home in Pehoni Village, Kaloleni, Kilifi County on Saturday 17th September 2022.
