It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Boniface Okoth Apwokha which occurred on Friday 3rd November 2023 at St. Mary’s hospital – Mumias after a long illness.
Son of the late Rubanos Okoth and the late JaneFefa Mayende. Son in law to the late Dominico Omondi and the late Magdalina Auma. He was brother to the late Michael Atieno, late Damaris Murengekha, Dominic Ayiemba and Consolata Nekesa.
Loving Husband of Mama Melenia Adhiambo Apwokha. Father to Margaret Owera, Godliver Mukanda, Stanslaus Apwokha (DCC Mbooni West), Maximius Apwokha (Annester Secondary, Damasus Apwokha, Chriseston Apwokha (Track Trace), Modester Achieng (County Government of Kakamega), Frankline Apwokha (KNBS).
Father-in-law to Humphrey Juma, Noah Mukanda, Celestine Onyango, Catherine Shikuku, Elizabeth Oyugi, Mildred Okuku, Nancy Wesonga, Kassim Nanjira

He also had several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
The cortege leaves Butula hospital Mortuary on Friday 17th November 2023 for a requiem mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church- Buhuyi
The funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday 18th November 2023 at his home in Makwara village, Elukongo location, Butula sub county, Busia county
