We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of John Mutonga Magu, who died peacefully on December 9th, 2023, after a long illness.
He was the devoted and loving husband to Magdalen Wairimu Magu, a cherished father to Alex Magu, Susan Magu, Richard Magu, Elizabeth Magu, David Sajabi, and Njeri Magu-Sajabi, and a doting grandfather to several beautiful grandchildren: Adrian, Austin, Benjamin, Mikaela, Joan, Michael, Simone, Gianna, Emily, Marie, Sophia and Dominique.
John was the firstborn and only son of the late Misheck Mutonga Magu and the late Mrs Elizabeth Njeri Magu, a kind, caring brother to Hannah, Rachel, Hilda, Jane, Joan, and a faithful friend to many.
He was a dedicated and hard worker and served at The Coffee Board of Kenya for over 30 years.
We invite all who knew John to join us in celebrating his remarkable life at the King’eero Catholic Church, Lower Kabete on Friday, December 15th, 2023, at 11:00 am. The Requiem Mass will be followed by burial at Kang’ora, Lower Kabete, Kiambu County.
