It is with deep sadness that the family of Mr. Gabriel Opeyo and Mrs. Jane Opeyo of Mutwala Muhoroni, announce the death of their cherished and beloved son in-law, the late District Apostle (I.R.) Shadreck Mundia Lubasi on 23rd June 2023 in Lusaka, Zambia. He was the first Managing Director of ZEP-RE – PTA Reinsurance Company (1993 – 2007), and the District Apostle for East Africa, New Apostolic Church (2008 – 2015).
He was buried at his Short horn farm - Lusaka West, Zambia, on 27th June 2023.
The late Shadreck Lubasi is survived by his widow, Dr. Rael Lubasi with whom he had a son, Mundia Opeyo Lubasi, and a step-daughter Madikizela Agola Otieno.
He was a brother in-law to Joseph Omondi, Christine Obura, Brigid Opeyo, Benta Opeyo and Mata Opeyo.
The Opeyo family will hold a celebration of the Late Shadreck Lubasi’s life ceremony (BUDHO MAR RAPAR) at their daughter Dr. Rael Lubasi’s residence, Runda - Mimosa Ridge, House No. 175, on 26th August 2023 at 11.30a.m.
