We are disheartened to announce the untimely demise of Ms. Phostine Magavo Madanga who passed away in Pemberton, New Jersey, (USA). She hails from the ‘Abamuku’ clan and uncled (Ujomba) to the Abakirima’ clan.
She was the lovely daughter to Mr. John Madanga and Mrs. Alice Madanga.
Granddaughter to the late Ezekiel Bugusu Madanga / Hada Gweyani Madanga and the late Mr. Tito Amugumbi and Solome Mmbone.
Big sweet sister to Morris Bugusu Madanga and Laura Gweyani Madanga.
Niece to Aunt Rose, Judy, Violet, Mary, and the late Justine, Margaret Rhoda, & Noelle, Uncle Edward Egadwa, /Musa Juma, Japhet Jomo the late Leonard Kisanya and Francis Amugune.
Cousin to Regina, Mary, Mbai, Josephine, Hannington, Vivian, Marion, Carlson, Kisia, Jackie, Sandra, Jumba,Jumba, Clinton, Jeff, Iminza, Everlyn, Gwarungura, Aluda, Aggrey, Jessy, Hope, Maulidi, Abdi, Farhiya, Adam, Nyangi, Loise, Abel, Ibrahim, Ramadhan, Yvonne, Marion, Isaac Jumo, Isaka, Dogo, and friend to many.
Family and friends have been meeting daily at her home in Posta-Maringo from 6.00pm to 9.00pm for funeral arrangements.
Her body will arrive in Kenya on Wednesday 21st February 2024.
Funeral service and viewing of the body will take place on Thursday, 22nd February 2024 at Friends Church Quakers (Maringo) from 2.00pm.
The cortege leaves Lee Funeral home on Friday 23rd February 2024. Then proceed to Igakara Village, near Igakara Primary School, Vihiga County for burial (her final resting place) on Saturday the 24th February 2024.
