Alice Awuor Opee
It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Ms. Alice Awuor Opee, which occurred on 27 January, 2024.
She was the Founder and Director, Primestuff Limited and former Chairperson, and trustee of the Pubs, Entertainment and Restaurants Association of Kenya (PERAK).
Alice was the beloved daughter of the late Benjamin Opee and Mrs. Rebecca Opee. Cherished mother of Paul (PJ) and Jerry Aludo.
Loving sister of Rose Opee Otieno W’mosi, Nancy Opee Were, Robert Opee, Beatrice Opee, Elizabeth Opee, Carolyne Opee-Stelios, and Richard Opee. Sister-in -law of Nelson W’mosi, Samuel Were, Eva Waweru Opee and Mario Stelios.
Niece of the late Sospeter Opee, the late Penny Opee, the late Alex Opee, Eliazar Muga, the late Harry, Tom, Walter, Margaret, Loice, the late Monica, Maren, Mary, Jane, Lorna, Perpetua, Saline, Janet, David Muok, the late Wilkister Okoth, the late Lameck Owira, the late Damaris Okeyo, the late Nyakwamba Muok, Andrew Muok, Priscah Boyi, Grace Omolo, Donota Nyacharo, Benta Muok, and Pauline Oruya Muok amongst many others.
Granddaughter of the late Ezra Opee, the late Prisca Okeyo, the late Siprosa Opee, the late Aska Otuga and the late Nathaniel Muok. Doting Aunt of Brenda, Dennis, Eugene, Brian, Cliff, Ben G and Joe. Great Aunt of Mia and Kara. Cousin to many.
Daily prayer meetings to condole with the family are being held at Alice’s place at Taj Park, Riverside Drive, from 5.00pm - 7.30pm.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on 21 February 2024, for a church service at Nairobi Central SDA Church starting at 10.00am.
Burial service will take place on 23 February 2024 in Kabondo, Homabay County from 9.00am and thereafter she will be laid to rest at the same location.
