It is with a heavy heart and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Francis Makau Mutangili on 12th February, 2024 after a long illness.
He was the beloved husband of Pauline Wanza Ndeto.
Loving father of Angeline Mwende, Christine Ndinda, Jacinta Mumbua, Dr. Dennis Kasyoki, Patricia Ndumi, Catherine Musengy’a, Nicholas Mwendwa, Charles Mutangili, and Daniel Muinde.
Father-in-law of Benson Masya, Kennedy Musingi, Samuel Ngure, Stephen Muthini, the late Gerald Muema, Deborah Mutheu and Purity Mbithe.
Doting grandfather of Mitchell, Alex, Gerald, Joy, Mumo, Makau, Ken, Njeri, Claire, Taraji, Adrian, Balbina, the late Leo and Precious.
Son of the late Mutangili Makau and Mary Ndetee Mutangili. He was brother of the late Katana, the late Mukuti, the late Syima Mutangili, Jackson Mutangili, Haron Ngui, Josephat Sing’ili, and the late Joseph Komu.
Francis was son-in-law of Joseph Ndeto and the late Agnes Ndeto.
Brother-inlaw of Samuel Musyoka and Margaret Nzele. Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kisau and at Blackwood Lounge next to Imaara Mall along Mombasa Road, Nairobi for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortège shall leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos on Friday, 23rd February, 2024 at 7:30 am.
Funeral service will be held the same day at his home in Muvaa village, Muthwani Sub-location, Kisau location Mbooni East, Makueni County and thereafter interment.
