It is with deep sorrow but humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Charles Waweru Munene (Brown) which occurred on 10th February 2024 after a long illness bravely borne.
Waweru Brown was the last born of the late Joseph Wambugu Munene and the late Jennifer Wangui Wambugu. Brother of Naftaly, the late Wangechi, the late Thande, the late Ngunjiri, the late Kunyua, the late Wabethi, the late Wangechi and the late Muthoni Guandaru. Husband of Cecily Wanjiku and Monica Waweru. Father of Jennifer, Joe, Maggie, Wambugu, Hon. Jane Muringi Wangúi and Tito. Grandfather of Micheal, Shanice, Jordan, Charles, Ashley, Frank and John Waigwa among others.
Waweru was a cousin, uncle, and friend of so many.
His life celebration will be held next week, Friday 15th March 2024.
The Cortège will leave Chiromo Funeral home on Friday 15th March at 6:30 am for Funeral Service and burial at his home in Njirongo in Gititu Village, Aguthi sub-location, Tetu, Nyeri County.
