With deep sorrow and profound sense of loss, we announce the passing of Mr. Lucas Nyangena Nyakundi after a short illness on Friday, 1st March 2024.
Son of (the late) Domiciano Nyakeri Nyakundi and (the late) Marian Nyakara Nyakundi.
Loving husband of Pamela Kemunto. Devoted father of Hesborn Nyakundi, Joseph Nyakundi, Nyantomary Nyakundi, Nancy Nyakundi (the late), Diana Nyakundi and Brian Nyakundi.
Brother of Paustine Moraa (the late), Hannah Nyaboke, Benedict Nyakundi, Florence Mbera, Jackline Kerubo, James Nyakundi, Mellen Bisieri, Teresiah Mokogoti and Gabriel Ogoto.
Father-in-law of Joash Masese, Valentine Wairimu and Maureen Chepkorir.
Grandfather of Lucas Masese, Angel Masese, Naya Kemunto, Keelin Wanjiku, Ramin Magic Nyakundi, Duran Nyakundi.
Family and friends are meeting daily at Kaputei Gardens, Lavington and the Kionganyo home in Kisii from 4pm. We shall hold a fundraising Harambee at Ashaki Garden Square KICC from 5pm on Tuesday 12th March 2024.
The cortège will leave Hema Funeral Home in Kisii Town at 2.00pm on Thursday 14th March 2024 to his Kisii home.
Mr. Lucas Nyangena Nyakundi will be laid to rest on Friday 15th March 2024 and the Memorial Service will be held at Kiong’anyo primary school from 10.00am.
