It is with great sorrow that we announce death of Esther Muthoni Kariuki (Gathoni wa Duke) of Karuthi Chinga Othaya Nyeri which occurred on 3rd March 2024 after a long illness.
Beloved daughter of the late Joseph Kiriro Wagura and Jane Wambui and Susan Wangari Kiriro.
Wife of the late Francis Kariuki Ndirangu (Duke).
Mother of Hon. John Ndirangu (Former Embakasi MP), Mary Wanjiru (Malcom Cafe), Ann Wambui (NCC), Jane Wangari (NCC), Lucy Wanjiku (NCC), Apostle Maina Kariuki (Resurrection Church Joska), Margret Wanjugu Kariuki (PG Bison K. Ltd), Joyce Waruguru (Nairobi Water - NCWSC), Emma Nduta (Riblah Enterprises).
Sister of Geoffrey Wachira Kiriro. Step-sister of the late (Wagura, Maina and Daudi), Wambui and Ngotho.
Mother-in-law of Mary Wanja Ndiragu, the late Patrick Ndugu, Julius Mwangi (NCC), Kamatu Kanogo (Canada), Rev. Faith Maina (Resurrection Church Joska) Gichuki Watiiri (Marsam Kenya) and Mugo Macharia (USA). She is Auntie, Cousin and friend to many. Grandmother and Great Grandmother of many.
Friends and family meet daily for funeral arrangements at Fedha Estate- Tassia Garden, Ruai Block 10 1st Avenue and her Home Mairoini Village Karuthi Chinga Othaya from 5:00p.m. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University (KU) Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Tuesday 12th March 2024, at 7:00a.m. for burial Service in Kiaguthu Secondary School Ground Chinga Othaya then later the body will be rested at her home in Mairoini Village Karuthi, Chinga Othaya Nyeri.
