It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Lydiah Nyambura Muthui on 7th March 2024 while receiving treatment at the Nairobi West Hospital.
She was daughter of the late James Kimani and the late Ruth Gituto. Devoted wife of the late Robert Muthui Koigi. Loving mother of Lucy waigwe, Kenneth Koigi, Catherine Gituto, Winnie Wanja, the late James Kimani, Joyce Wanjiku Mukundi, Stephen Mucheru, Sarah Njoki and Nicholas Njeru.
Cherished mother-in-law of Martin Maina, Winfred Chege, Edward Mukundi, Beatrice Wanjiku and Pauline Njoki. Dear sister of the late Njeru, Wanjiku, Muriu, Wilson, Kariuki, Salome and Waigwe.Beloved grandmother and great grandmother of many.
Family and friends are meeting from 5.00pm at Mukundi’s residence Lavington, at her home in Kirogo village, Kahuhia location in Murang’a County daily and All Saint Cathedral, Nairobi on Tuesday, 12th March 2024 & Wednesday, 13th March 2024.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 15th March 2024 at 8.00 am. The funeral service will be held at ACK Saint Peter’s Kirogo Church and thereafter burial at her home in Kirogo Village, Kahuhia location, Murang’a County.
